Who Are We?
Ben Talty and Fletcher Baker are professional NRL athletes and lifelong best mates from Muswellbrook. United by rugby league and shared ambition, they’ve taken their passion beyond the field to pursue a dream of crafting distinctive fragrances. Built on discipline, confidence, and character, this is where sport meets scent.
Why did you start Nefertum?
Nefertum came to life during our trip to Egypt last year, a destination that had been on our bucket list since we started traveling. We make it a point to go on a trip every off-season, and this particular adventure was especially inspiring. Named after the god of beauty and aromatherapy, Nefertum represents the culmination of ideas that fell into place perfectly, giving birth to our brand.
What are your favourite memories from Egypt?
The pyramids were the main reason we wanted to visit Egypt, especially since we didn't know anyone who had been before. Our journey took us south of Cairo and then onto Luxor. The Nile River was fascinating, and we enjoyed a cruise on felluca boats. We then ventured to Hurghada, where we stayed by the beautiful Red Sea.
